No more work!

Okay, well, that's a lie because I have 1001 things to do, but I AM done working in lab.  Yesterday morning went great - my committee said I'm good to graduate, and that my presentation was good enough to be my thesis defense.  Boo-ya!  The day kind of went downhill from there, though; I was a huge ball of stress.  Here are the things that happened:

-My boss suddenly dropped a ton of work on me; I had planned on leaving after lunch, but instead worked 12 hours yesterday and sent a million e-mails
-I realized I used the wrong credit card to book our Cube, and after I called to change, I realized my other card is expired.  I keep waiting for them to call me and yell at me, but apparently they haven't figured it out yet
-Called Bank of America to fix said card, found out that while it was 'active' til then, they realized they needed to re-activate it because of inactivity...blah blah blah, two separate calls and an hour of talk time later, they're overnighting me a new one (which I am sitting patiently at home waiting for, so I can call the Cube people AGAIN)
-Found out I didn't get job #3.  This was a pretty huge bummer because he seemed really interested in taking me, and it seemed like he wanted someone right away. Guess he wanted someone even sooner than I thought.  Since job #2 hasn't been in touch, I assume that one is off the table.  Today I'll e-mail job #1 again and look for more.  Unemployment is scary.
-My shoes chewed holes in my feet.  Sounds minor, but it still sucks!

So with my first day off, I've got a to-do list to tackle, but I plan to make some time to veg and catch up on Game of Thrones as well.  I've made a deal with myself, I can watch an episode for every item I check off. Tomorrow the Cubes come, Comcast comes to take away our internet, and we finish packing.  The plan is to pack one cube, then save the second for Thursday (so we can put our bed in it).  Hopefully we'll get a good idea of how much space we have and how much stuff we need to throw away, and then we will be making tons of trips to the recycling/Dumpster.  If I have any energy left, I want to do some heavy cleaning so I don't have to tackle it all on Thursday.  It's starting to all feel very real!
