Yesterday we were supposed to have our third baby class, but on our way there we got a flat tire. At first we were a bit stressed about what to do, but a guy came out from Les Schwab, put on our spare (all this for free!) and then we drove it to their shop where we bought a new tire. It ended up being surprisingly uneventful, I had actually forgotten about it til now. We'll try to reschedule the baby class, but no big deal if we don't - I think Jeff was pretty happy to miss it, honestly. On the plus side, it gave us several bonus hours to get stuff done tomorrow, so we went to Costco and later to Fred Meyer to get a printer and Jeff took care of getting his thesis printed and submitted. So that was kind of cool.
Friday our cable boxes came and that night we bought a small TV for our bedroom (the instructions said we had to set up both boxes before activating?), set up the boxes, and now we have cable. Which I suppose will come in handy now that I'm a football fan :) Friday night we also set up our crib and changer, the first baby items that I couldn't put together on my own (though I was able to do the bulk of the work!). Now the baby's room actually looks like it should have a baby in it - I still wouldn't call it a nursery, but it's definitely a room for a baby! Here's the finished products:
